Rumex bucephalophorus L.
Annual, rarely biennial or short-lived perennial, ± glabrous. Stem(s) one to several, ascending to erect, 5–15(–20) cm. Leaves petiolate, blade with cuneate base. Inflorescence a simple or branched raceme with flowers in clusters of 2 or 3, often occupying most of plant. Flowers and pedicels usually dimorphic, filiform or becoming flattened and dilated after anthesis, recurved in fruit and often tinged crimson or purple. Valves with long teeth or spines. Nutlet sharply triquetrous, brown.
