Leontodon graecus Boiss. & Heldr.

Leontodon crispus: Πολυετές με κάθετο ρίζωμα, usually producing several erect, simple stems 4–20 cm tall, whole plant ± hispid. Leaves in a basal rosette, sinuate-dentate to pinnatisect, with numerous long-stalked, 2–6-fid hairs (subsessile stellate hairs lacking). Capitulum nodding in bud, 25–40 mm wide at anthesis. Phyllaries ± imbricate, linear-lanceolate. Ligules yellow, often with a reddish-purple stripe beneath. Body of achene 4–6 mm, cylindrical, with scale-like hairs above; beak c. equalling body; pappus of 2 rows of plumose hairs.

Μερικοί θεωρούν ότι ο Leontodon graecus είναι υποείδος του L. crispus, αλλά σύμφωνα με τον Lack ("Mount. Fl. Greece" 2: 530–531. 1991) διαφέρει ουσιαστικά στο τρίχωμα το οποίο αποτελείται απο σχεδόν άμισχες αστεροειδείς τρίχες, ανακατεμένες με μακρύτερες, 3–7-σχιδείς έμισχες τρίχες.
