Ονωνίς η κολλώδης υποείδος η μικρολούλουδη (Ononis viscosa subsp. breviflora (DC.) Nyman)
Annual, usually branched from base, 10–30 cm tall. Lower and upper leaves 1-foliolate, the middle sometimes 3-foliolate, all with well-developed stipules; leaflets broadly oblong to elliptical, serrulate. Inflorescence lax, with primary branches 1-flowered. Calyx teeth linear-lanceolate, several times longer than tube. Corolla usually lemon yellow, fading ± orange. Legume broadly oblong, compressed, pale brown. Seeds c. 1.5 mm, dark brown, minutely tuberculate.
Subsp. breviflora: Whole plant sparsely eglandular-pilose with few glandular hairs; middle leaflets usually c. 20 × 12 mm; peduncle filiform, long-aristate; corolla equalling calyx, pale yellow; legume much longer than calyx.
